It is also called engineered stone or artificial synthetic marble, whose qualities are very much the same as those of natural stone marble. Aritificial quartz is produced out of fillers and synthetic resin that is used as binder. Aritificial quartz s main advantage lies in its low shrinkage, high strength values, resistant to corrosion , minimum water absorption, ageing and weather resistant to aggressive media, easy maintenance and high abrasion resistance etc. The aritificial quartz tiles are obtaining quite a wide applications in building projects. The typical applications of aritificial quartz tiles can be flooring, roofing.
